I’m in awe of Denise Grover Swank. She’s sold 150,000 copies across six indie published novels in the last year. (Holy cats!) She’s a savvy marketer, and she’s got a rock-solid business plan. She’s inspired ME to beef up my business plan, when I already had one, so you know she’s got some series ninja skills in that department.
If you are already indie published, or considering indie publishing, I HIGHLY encourage you to check out her three-part blog series on making a business plan for your writing:
Denise is SO AWESOME that you might find some of this intimidating. I do, and I’ve been in the business for a year. But even if you just tackle parts of the plan, or tailor it/scale it down for your own needs, I think everyone can benefit to giving some thought to these parts of being an indie author.
Off to Swankize my business plan…
