I'd rather read minds. After reading the first book, I know how much trouble it can lead to!
Only ebook this time?
No, you can get paper copies too! Here's the links (also at the top of the post – maybe I should bold it!):
Paper copies available at Amazon or get signed copies from the author (see sidebar)
Thanks!!
I would rather read minds!
I can understand that! Being a jacker is scary!
Congratulations, Susan!!! By the way, if I had my choice, I'd want to control minds. Mwahahaha! 😀
LOL! And thank you! 🙂
Congrats on the big day! I'm sure Closed Hearts will be a smashing success!
Thanks so much Laura!
Congratulations! I didn't officially enter the Launch Party, but I posted about it anyway! Good luck I hope you sell a gazillion books! 🙂
Thanks so much for spreading the word!!
Congrats on your big day Susan! So excited for you.
Thanks! And thank you for all your hopping and commenting!
oh control minds, def. Even despite the jello and the smells… 😀 Awesome! Super-congrats, Dr. Q! :o) <3
Bahaha! Yes, I think the smells would get to me, even more than the textures!!
Congratulations on the release!! I can't wait to read it.
Thank you! I can't wait for you to read it too! 🙂
Wow, you do a great job with these! I need to take notes 😉
Thanks Rick – and thanks for your help with the book! (Rick is one of my awesome crit partners! Check out his books, people!)
Love the prizes and the book! Had to download copy for my daughter and I to read since she loved Open Minds! Keep the great stories coming!
Yay! #alsothankyou I would love to hear what your daughter thinks of the second book! 🙂
Congratulations on an awesome launch day!
Thank you for all your support!
I'd rather jack minds, because then you get to read them too! Best of both worlds, right?!
You got it! Of course there's a few moral dilemmas the get in the way of all the fun… 🙂
BTW – LOVE those MUGS!!! You should totally offer those for sale! I'd buy 'em!
It may not be popular to say so, but I kind of like being a zero. If I MUST choose, I'd rather be a reader. Jacking is just too much power for me.
I think that's actually a smart choice, all things considered! Zeros may be outcasts, but they're not dealing with all the mindreading/mindjacking madness! 🙂
I would rather read minds. Congrats on a successful launch! Thanks for hosting the contest! bevsharp@desch.org
Thanks for stopping by!
Congratulations on the new release. 🙂
Thank you Lisa!

Congratulations, Susan!
Thank you Deniz!
Hee hee. Awesome mugs. Susan, you're such an example of awesomeness. =)
Aw, thanks! I totally pinned those mugs when I first saw them. Then I had to buy them, er, to give them away! Right! That's it. 🙂
I pinned them here! You'll have to do your own artwork, though. 🙂
Congratulations on the release of Closed Minds. Another awesome read. I'm in the middle of it and, wow, it's a page turner. Thanks for letting me be a part of your launch. Cheers!
Thanks for all you've done to help make the launch a success!!
even with the evilness of it, i think i'd rather jack minds. the thought of being able to control ones thoughts..oh the possibilities! *insert evil laugh*
LOL! Yeah, I'm with you on that. 🙂
Just wanted to stop by and say CONGRATS on the release! So excited for you 🙂
Thank you Jessica! 🙂
Congratulations, Susan. I'm off to tiptoe through the Bonus Content. Happy launch.

Thanks Trisha!
Can't wait to read the new book!! congrats!
Hi Alex! Thanks for stopping by! Tell your mom I'll bring a copy to my next appointment if you want a paper one (no shipping!). Or are you getting it on the iPad?
WooHoo! Congrats on the book launch, Susan!
Though there is a lot of risk and temptation, I rather jack minds. First off, I like the fact that you can keep your thoughts private from other readers. And second, well, I'll admit I like having little more control. Not really to use on other people. Even if I wanted to, I probably couldn't bring myself to control another person. But just in general, it's kind of a good feeling to know you have that power, you know?
Yes! Or you can just go with being evil, like J.L. LOL!
Congratulations on the new book! I love the excerpt and have placed both books on my TBR list. Thank you for the awesome giveaway. ~Brenda
Thanks so much for the TBR add! I hope you enjoy them. 🙂
Grats!!
Okay, I'm leaving a comment. I'd rather jack minds, cuz I'm kinda evil like that.
LOL! #awesome
Silly me entered the comment before clicking on the copter entry. I would rather read minds. ~Brenda
It works either way! Or possibly I mindjacked you into leaving a comment first. 🙂
Congratulations Sue! I can't wait to read Closed Hearts. Happy Launch Day!
Thank you Sharon! *hugs*
Congrads Ill Be AT The PArty Cant Wait For it And I Would Read Minds Not Jack Them.
Cant Wait To Read The Book
Yay! Thanks for stopping by!
I think I'd want to mindjack them.
P.S. The link on your sidebar to twitter only takes the visitor to twitter not your actual twitter page.
Thanks for the heads up on the twitter button! Will check it out.
Hmmm.. works for me. Here it is, in case you still need it: https://twitter.com/#!/susankayequinn
Hmm… I think I would rather mindjack people. That way I don't have to listen to their thoughts 24/7 AND if they are being rude to me I can just mind jack them. LoL
Now you're thinking! LOL
Wishing you all the best with this new book Susan! My copy's waiting for me on my Kindle 🙂
Thank you so much Jemi!!
You have the most fantastic, awesome book launches! Cheers again! Now I'm ready for a refill! LOL!
Aw, you are so sweet! I'm certainly having fun with this one. 🙂
Congrats on your release! Looking so forward to reading book 2!!
Angela
Thank you Angela!
Congrats on the new release. I haven't started this series but I have it on my list right now. It really sounds great. I think I might like to read minds better but not sure will have to read your book to see if maybe would rather jack minds. Thanks!
Yippee, Sue! Cannot wait to read it. Happy launch! I heart you.
Congratulations, Susan!!!
Congrats!!!!
Congratulations, Susan! 🙂
Oh, and I'd rather read minds.
I would so rather read minds!
I would rather jack minds for three reasons:
1) Mindjackers can choose not to hear others' thoughts if they become too annoying, and likewise can stop others from reading their thoughts (if they are powerful enough).
2) If it turns out that I would rather be a mindreader, I can always rook, whereas choosing to be a true mindreader would leave me with no "opt-out clause".
3) The ability to jack people's minds gives me an unparalleled control over my life, provided I avoid more powerful jackers and people with anti-jacker weapons. A talented mindjacker could become virtually invisible, make people or objects virtually invisible, or create illusions that would become completely real for their victims by accessing the parts of the readers' brains responsible for each of their five senses. This could revolutionize the field of virtual reality, or could be used to alter reality, i.e. by giving the mindjacker super powers. To anyone in mindjacking range, these powers would be real, and no test they might run could determine otherwise – not that they would think to run any tests while under the influence of the mindjacker. A group of such talented mindjackers could create a Matrix-like alternate reality, only, unlike in The Matrix, there would be no rebellion because the victims' every thought would be controlled by the mindjackers running it.
Thank you to my son, Dark Omen, for the mini-thesis on mindjacking and mindreading. Perhaps you could consult for the third book? I hope your rates aren't too high. 🙂
A huge congrats to you, Susan.
Congrats on your book!
