I don’t talk much about my book Life, Liberty, and Pursuit on Ink Spells (since my book is YA and all), but I wanted to alert everyone to a wonderful giveaway my publisher, Omnific, is throwing (here’s a great review of Omnific!). All the instructions can be found at the website, but here’s the skinny:
- Visit Omnific’s Author’s Websites (including mine!) February 1-14
- Find the Hidden Candy Hearts (one per website, each with a different saying. Clue: You’ll have to find out more About Me to find my candy heart)
- Match the sayings to the authors, enter the form, and enter a drawing to win the ENTIRE Omnific eBook collection.
WARNING: Omnific is a Romance publisher, and while my book is one of three YA titles (yay!), most of their titles are Romance with a side of steamy, and are intended for adults.
Secondly: Season of Love Giveaway
For those that don’t already know, my debut young adult novel Life, Liberty, and Pursuit is about a college-bound girl who falls in a pool, the navy recruit who saves her, and their struggle to decide between following their dreams and daring to love.
I’m giving away a copy of Life, Liberty, and Pursuit on my book website, along with some delicious Valentine’s Candy for your sweetheart! So, if you have someone who would love a sweet love story and some sweeter candy, hop over to my book website to enter. Contest runs through February 10th (so I have time to ship your winnings to your sweetheart).

Thanks for the heads-up. I'll never forget reading your book. One of my first reviews and I loved it! You're a hero, Susan. Really.
@Sheri What a sweet thing to say! Thank you so much!! 🙂
Yay! I would love to win a copy of your book. I am off to enter! 🙂
P.S. Your web page is adorable!
@Shannon Thanks!! The web designer is some kind of magician. 🙂
Cute idea for a give away. Love it!
Thank you for linking to my post about Omnific and the authors. I love you guys! Great publisher with great taste!
Off to find your candy heart! *rushes off*
@Cheesy Thanks!
@Tale Thank YOU for your lovely review of Omnific! 🙂
Hi Susan. I just started reading your book on my Nook yesterday. I need to finish it to see exactly how the relationship plays out, but so far I think it's a very sweet romance. My 13 yo daughter isn't into romances, but some of her friends are. As long as it doesn't end up going a little too "adult," I can't wait to tell them about it : )
@Rhonda Yay! Thanks for reading! I'll PM you with the details…but it's generally good for 13+.
I like the title and cover. I'm on my way to the website to learn more.
@moonlight Yay! Thanks for checking it out. 🙂
