I’m guest posting today on Lisa Sanchez’s blog for the Sizzling Summer Author Extravaganza. There I talk about Long Distance Romance and how our military families sacrifice so that their loved ones can serve.
As a small thank you to military families, I’m giving away a copy of Life, Liberty, and Pursuit, plus a $25 Barnes&Noble Gift card – but I need your help!
The winner must be part of a military family (with a loved one in the military, active duty or retired). So please tweet, FB, and share this with everyone you know, so we can reach as many military families as possible.

And thanks for spreading the word!
p.s. Don’t forget to check out my short story in Omnific’s Summer Breeze Anthology (all proceeds support Save the TaTas)!

Great idea for a giveaway, Susan. Bless the military.
@Jennifer Thanks! And agreed. 🙂
I had two cousins in the air force, who are now long retired, but we don't even talk anymore, so it wouldn't seem fair. I'll tweet it!
@Matthew That totally counts. My dad was a Marine, then a life-long civilian working for the Navy. I love that the connections are there, that so many of us know personally people that have served. That's so important, I think, to keep it real.
I have a brother-in-law who will be deployed for the fourth time in Novemeber. I have witnessed first hand the sacrifices he and his family have made. In fact, I'm awed by what they have to endure.
@Ruth My thanks to your brother-in-law and your family! Please enter them in the contest!! (You can enter in their place) 😉
Thank you for focusing on military families. So many kids in my class have someone near and dear to them serving our country. There can't be enough reminders that prompt us to keep them in our thoughts and prayers. I'm off to tweet this post.
I only know Canadian military families, but I tweeted this post to spread the word.
@Leslie Thanks for helping to spread the word! And for looking after those kids! 🙂
@Cinette Yay for Canada, too! And thank you for spreading the word!!
I will tweet this. Yay for military families! Now I want to go hug my Marine and my Airman. But they aren't here 🙁
What an awesome contest for the military families! I retweeted this as well. 🙂
@KarenG I know you miss them! Make sure you enter the contest!! And please thank your Marine and Airman for me!
@Laura Thanks so much for spreading the word!
