Today is the last day for my WRITERS GIVE HOPE campaign – click to comment-for-llamas, donate-for-llamas, and enter-for-Who’s-Your-Llama-giveaway! While you’re at it, click through to Nathan Bransford’s giveaway to give more to Heifer, and leave some comment love for others participating in his comment-a-thon!
Contest ends at 6pm Pacific Llama Time (8 pm for Chicago Llamas). I will update then with the winner of the Who’s Your Llama? t-shirt and donations.
In the meantime, for your entertainment, the llama song…

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by for llama week! Ink Spells is officially on vacation until the first, when I’ll be participating in a New Year’s blogfest to start the year off with some fun pictures before we get all serious again.
Merry Christmas to All!

I thought llamas lived for ever.
And when I retire I'm also going to become a duck.
@Bryan *tears for llama* I think that's why the Happy Llama, Sad Llama chant was invented – to immortalize llamas everywhere.
OMGosh…how have I missed this llama!! HAHHAHAH…….thank you for the laugh. I needed it. I just returned from finishing Christmas shopping. I think I'll watch it again WITH a glass of wine!
@Sheri I SO need a glass of wine, precisely because I haven't finished my shopping! Drink one for me! (and another for the llama) π
The perfect way to end your llama week! π
The perfect way to end your llama week! π
@Shannon I agree!
@Everyone The results are in and I've updated the post above! Thanks again to everyone who stopped by! π
I MISSED IT!! Oh! I'm so sad! Sorry, Sue. This sounded like a wonderful campaign and I love the things Heifer International does. :o(
Congrats to Queen 'Brina… I'm off to make a comment on the project anyway and I'm glad you donated the whole llama even without my participation. What a great thing you're doing, Sue!
Hugs,
Jackee
Sorry I missed all the fun, but I was determined to finish my first draft. I'm now catching up on my blogging. π

@Jackee Yay! I'm hopping over now! π
Yay Queen 'Bina! (We totally grew up together. I know, brush with fame.) Again Susan, you're so awesome for doing this. Yay llamas!
Okay, I think I haven't stopped by in too long- I have no clue what all the llama references are about! I actually stopped by with a question for you, since I know you are big e-book and ereader fan. have you heard if any libraries have jumped on the e-book bandwagon yet, so a person can check out e-books?
@K. Marie I finally have Queen 'Bina's shirt on the way – technical difficulties, ugh. π
@Margo You missed all the llama fun! And all for a good cause – Heifer Int'l.
Re: e-books – yes! Your local library may have e-books to check out. The best thing is to check with them. If they are like my local library, they actually subscribe to a nation-wide e-book lending service. You may have a bit of a wait, but it works! I may have to do a blog post on this … hm….
