From the first story spark in my brain about the Singularity story, I knew I would want to write a collection of short stories to go with the novels. In this, I’m following in the hallowed footsteps of Isaac Asimov, who fleshed out his Three Laws of Robotics over a series of novels and shorts. I’m working hard on the second novel in the Singularity series (The Duality Bridge), but along the way, I’ll be writing short novellas to shine a light on the dark corners of the Singularity world that can’t be explored solely through Eli’s story. Today, I’ve released the first of those stories, Restore.
