Seriously, folks, I’ve been in this business for almost 6 years. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen something happen and get passed around as the End of Times. And a BUNCH of people make decisions based on it.
There’s a difference between being nimble and adapting to the situation on the ground and reacting to stories of terribleness that happen to individual authors. Or even several authors.
