Announcing SEAWEED by Elle Strauss!
A teen swim athlete discovers a merfolk world that threatens to keep her out of the ocean forever.
Dori Seward can’t wait to get out of Eastcove, a sleepy fishing village on the border of New Brunswick and Maine. She bides her time by hanging out with friends, attending swim club, and holding her biggest competition, Colby–who wants more than just friendship, at arm’s length.
Then Tor Riley comes to town and he has everything Dori dreams of in a boyfriend–looks, athleticism and mystery.
But Tor also has a tantalizing secret and Dori is determined to find out what it is. The truth is crazier than her wildest imaginations and more dangerous, too.
Dori has new fantastical enemies , and they will do anything to get to her.
Her life, her dreams and her love for Tor are all weighing in the balance. Will Dori risk it all in order to have it all?
SEAWEED is FREE for a limited time on Amazon! It’s also free on itunes and smashwords.
Elle Strauss writes time travel and merfolk chic-lit, light SF and historical YA fiction. To ward off writer’s butt she does a bit of hiking, biking and yoga. Elle is married with four children and divides her time between British Columbia, Canada, and Germany.

Um, isn't British Columbia in Canada? It's beautiful country, and now I'm jealous.
The attack of the comma! I think she means "British Columbia, Canada" and "Germany (various cities therein)."
Thanks for featuring me, Susan. Yes, I live in BC and sometimes Dresden, Germany (looks like it'll be 6 months or so a year starting Jan, but I'll be there for a couple months this fall as well. I'm married to a German musician…ja, and interesting life 🙂
That IS the interesting life – see, I didn't even know that about you! How cool to have access to Europe that way, for part of each year. Then again, moving 4 children overseas – I think I might lose my mind. 🙂
A fellow Canuck! Obviously she must be amazing.
And it's possible the Indelibles are taking over the world. Which is about time.
LOL! Naturally. And World Domination is definitely on our agenda, right after naps and cupcakes. 🙂
Cool, I just downloaded it for the Kindle app on my phone (I have a Nook and often miss all these special deals!). I have to say, I'm intrigued by "merfolk chic-lit" in the author's bio.
I grew up by the beach watching for merfolks my whole life. Seaweed, say hello to my TBR pile.
