June of this year, I’d grown tired of waiting to catch the interest of an
agent, too many near misses and almosts. So, I decided to submit my YA novel
MARKED BEAUTY to publishers on my own. Within the first two weeks, I’d gained a
few offers from publishers, and then another and another. On some amazing
advice from fellow writers, I decided to query a few agents, letting them know
about my offers. To make it short, after a wonderful chat with Paula via phone,
I came to the conclusion that she had a similar vision for this manuscript as
well as my career as an author. I decided to sign with her.

I love reading books especially very good series, we have a little book club at my job and we read the books together…I would love to win the series and the gift certificate for the jewelry store, I just love jewelry.

Yes, I entered both. As for what I'd like to win . . . normally I'd say one of the GC for books or possibly one of the signed copies, but the gorgeous onyx pendant sounds – well gorgeous. But then again, the GC for the jewelry sounds equally lovely. So basically, one of each would be grand! =) Truly, it would be fantastic to win any one of the items listed.
